    Vehicle damaged after shooting near Theodore: MPD

    MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Gunfire on Thursday struck a vehicle in motion, but no one was injured, according to the Mobile Police Department.

    The MPD said in a press release that officers responded to the report of a shooting at the 7300 block of Theodore Dawes Road around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22.

    INCIDENT LOCATION:

    When officers arrived, they discovered that the side of a victim’s vehicle was damaged as the victim drove on Dawes Road near the McFarland Road intersection.

    The driver, whom the police did not identify, was not reported as injured during the incident.

    Police say they are continuing to investigate the shooting.
