Florence woman killed in Winston County crash

WINSTON COUNTY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A single-vehicle crash that occurred early Monday morning left a Florence woman dead.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Abigail Bailey, 45, was injured when the Nissan Pathfinder she was driving left the roadway and struck multiple trees. She was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred around 1:27 a.m. on Alabama 13 near the 262-mile marker. Nothing else is available as ALEA continues to investigate.
