McGill-Toolen defends cannon against Murphy, plus week 2 highlights

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Our game of the week was one of the oldest rivalries in Alabama football history as it was the 93rd meeting between Murphy and McGill-Toolen.

The Yellow Jackets took victory over the Panthers 32-6 in the Battle of the Cannon.

Late in the first quarter, McGill’s quarterback gets into the end zone to lead the game 7-0. Getting closer to halftime McGill blocks a punt, recovering the ball and getting their second touchdown of the night.
