ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — Two people were arrested after they allegedly knocked down a man who confronted them for being on his property, according to two Escambia County Sheriff’s Office arrest reports.

64-year-old Jeffrey Jay Pennington and 44-year-old Jamie Rose Copple are accused of pushing the man on the ground.

According to their arrest reports, the victim had confronted several people who were on his property and, while contacting law enforcement, Pennington tried to leave.

That’s when the victim allegedly tried to step in front of the vehicle and was knocked down.

Once he had gotten up, Copple used her chest to knock the victim back down, according to the report.

The report also said someone who was with the victim used a can of bear spray on the suspects to get them to stop attacking the victim.
