2 robbed at gunpoint on San Souci Road: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon while trying to sell the suspect a gun, according to the Mobile Police Department.

According to an MPD news release, officers were called to the 2400 block of San Souci Road around 5 p.m. on Aug. 30 for a report of a robbery.

Officers arrived and found that the male victim had met up with a man he knew to sell him a gun, but that is when the suspect pulled a gun on the two victims and demanded the gun, according to officials.

Police said this is an active investigation.
