    2 arrested after Escambia County drug bust on 3 houses: ECSO

    ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — Two Pensacola men were arrested after the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed search warrants on three homes.

    According to ECSO officials, their narcotics unit and SWAT team served the search warrants on the 400 block of Lenox Parkway and the 5300 block of Charbar Drive.

    Deputies located over 100 grams of cocaine, hydrocodone, marijuana, spice and over $40,000 in case in the three homes, according to officials.

    37-year-old Kidd Jerome Weatherspoon was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.

    48-year-old Antione Lavarsi McPherson was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of cocaine.

    Growing up in this city. the crime rate has definitely exploded way more than the 80s and nineties even early 2000s. or maybe we just hear it more than reading it in the papers like a long time ago.
