Mobile man accused of stealing equipment from neighbor’s home

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Officers with the Mobile Police Department arrested a man Wednesday after he allegedly stole equipment from his neighbor.

According to an MPD news release, officers were called to the 8500 block of Jeff Hamilton Road Extension on Wednesday, Sept. 4, for a report of a person stealing equipment.

When officers arrived, they found that the neighbor who lived adjacent to the victim was the suspect, according to MPD.

42-year-old Jonathan Matthew Wallace of Mobile was arrested and charged with first-degree theft of property.
