    MCPSS schools ask people attending football games to honor Theodore cheerleader killed in Louisiana

    MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Select schools that are a part of the Mobile County Public School System have posted on their Facebook pages asking people attending games Friday night to wear green as a tribute for a Theodore teen killed in a house explosion over the weekend.

    Theodore, Davidson, Alma Bryant and Mary G. Montgomery High Schools have put on their Facebook pages asking people to wear green in honor to 16-year-old Deuce Barrere who was killed when his uncle’s house exploded in Ragley, Louisiana.

    The Louisiana State Fire Marshal said the cause of the explosion was a propane gas leak.

    Facebook posts from all of the respective schools have asked students to wear green, and Theodore High School put on Facebook that they are extremely thankful for the support they’ve received over the past week.
