PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — This week, I read a quote from Mother Teresa that got me to thinking. Here it is:

“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.”

Over the past couple of weeks, a number of things have happened that have driven home to me the fact that our time here on Earth is limited and that we need to make the most of every day that we have.

It’s easy to say “I’ll do it tomorrow.” Or to spend a day thinking about what we should have done yesterday. But both of those are examples of wasting our precious time on the one day that really counts… today.

This week, I hope you’ll join me in reading Mother Teresa’s quote every morning, (you can find it on the internet) and then make an intentional effort to “begin.” To begin what? Well, maybe to begin reading that book that’s been sitting on a shelf, to begin the project that’s been on the back burner, to begin repairing relationships by making the call or sending the card, to begin offering forgiveness and kindness in situations that left us hurting.

There are lots of ways we can honor our time, by making the most of it. Are you ready to “begin” doing that? Let’s do it together, starting today. And that’s your Minute with Drexel.
