    Mobile woman arrested after vehicle stolen from Winn-Dixie

    MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A local woman was arrested after she allegedly stole a vehicle from a Winn-Dixie, according to the Mobile Police Department.

    That woman, identified as 36-year-old Deneshia Lavice Christian of Mobile, was arrested when officers said they found her with a vehicle that was reported stolen the day before.

    According to the MPD, officers had responded to the Winn-Dixie at 1550 Government Street shortly before midnight on Thursday, Sept. 12. When officers arrived they found that a victim had left their vehicle running when it was stolen.

    Police said they saw the vehicle at around 12:50 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13 in the area of Gaston Street and Adams Street.

    VEHICLE FOUND LOCATION:

    Christian was charged with first-degree receiving stolen property. She is currently behind bars at the Mobile Metro Jail, according to reports.
