    Suspect in 2023 homicide arrested: Escambia County Sheriff’s Office

    ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — Escambia County deputies have arrested a man in connection with a November 2023 homicide .

    29-year-old Shybri Bashiabeon Omar Steverson is charged with the first-degree homicide of Guy Dixon that occurred on the 2300 block of W. Blount St.

    LOCATION:

    When deputies responded to the scene, they found Dixon with a gunshot wound and took him to a local hospital where he died.

    Steverson is being held without bond.
