CONECUH COUNTY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A single-car crash near Evergreen claims the lives of two people Saturday night.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says 37-year-old Darrell Antoine Willis was driving a 2005 Lincoln Town Car on Alabama Highway 83 around 8:50 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway and struck several trees. Willis and his passenger, 33-year-old Anthony Ervin-Trayron Hunter, were pronounced dead at the scene.

State troopers say neither Willis nor Hunter were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The wreck is still under investigation.
