2 men shoot each other during argument: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Two men were taken to the hospital after they shot each other during a confrontation, according to the Mobile Police Department.

An MPD news release said officers were called to a home on the 4500 block of Cypress Shores Drive around 6 a.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, officers said they found the two men with gunshot wounds. One of the men was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the other was taken with life-threatening injuries.

The release said MPD’s investigation found that the man with life-threatening injuries had broken into the other man’s home and was shot by the man.

The suspect then shot the victim, according to police. The suspect had allegedly showed up at the home to confront the victim and a woman. Police said the woman was physically assaulted during the incident.

This is an active investigation.
