The residents had a four-hour ride time to the Mobile facility.

Nurses from all over Alabama traveled to the Mobile facility to help with the influx of guests for Hurricane Helene.

Arabella Health and Wellness of Carrabella staff also traveled with the 56 residents. Some staff members brought their family members as well.

The location in Mobile is licensed to house 174 beds, leaving additional space for the Florida evacuees.

The executives and administrators of the facility are beyond grateful for the numerous maintenance staff, vehicle teams, dietitians and staff who made the operation happen.

The length of the Florida guests’ stay depends on the outcome of the storm.
