Mobile Police investigating after report of armed robbery

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Officials with the Mobile Police Department are investigating after they say a man was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend.

According to an MPD news release, officers responded to a report of a robbery that occurred in the area of Forestdale Drive and Marietta Drive around 5 a.m. on Sept. 28.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

Officials said they found that the victim gave a man he knew a ride to a gas station. The man he gave a ride to then pulled a gun on him and demanded money.

There have been no reports of arrests or injuries in connection with this incident. This is an active investigation, according to police.
