    Molino man seriously injured after truck crashes into home

    ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — A man was seriously injured when his truck crashed into a home Wednesday afternoon in Escambia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

    The FHP said in a news release that the crash happened around 3:21 p.m. near Sunshine Hill Road and Molino Road on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

    INCIDENT LOCATION:

    According to crash reports, a 54-year-old Molino man was driving a pickup truck when he ran off the roadway and hit a ditch. Officials said this resulted in the vehicle being sent airborne and colliding with a house.

    The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to reports. A passenger was also reportedly taken to the hospital following the crash.

    FHP said the crash is under investigation at this time.
