    Mobile County deputy involved in crash with civilian car during chase: MCSO

    UPDATE (3:48 p.m.): An Eight Mile man is in custody after he led Mobile County deputies on a chase Thursday afternoon.

    30-year-old Corey Lee Hammac was arrested Thursday.

    He is accused of obscuring the identity of a vehicle, felony attempting to elude and reckless endangerment.

    According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, Hammac is suspected of being a supplier of the new drug known as “Tranq,” which is a combination of Xylazine and fentanyl.

    “When injected or snorted it turns the user into a Zombie state,” an MCSO Facebook post said.

    MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A Mobile County sheriff’s deputy was involved in a chase on Moffett Road on Thursday.

    Mobile police officer arrested, terminated for stealing packages: MPD

    The deputy was chasing a suspect on a motorcycle when the MCSO vehicle collided with a civilian car.

    The suspect was on a motorcycle and is now fleeing on foot in a nearby wooded area.

    The suspect may be armed, and Mobile police said to call them at 251-574-8633 if the suspect is seen.
