Milton man dies after possible medical emergency leads to crash: FHP

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — A man has died after a possible medical emergency led him to crash, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The 59-year-old Milton man was driving east on Welcome Church Road near Carl Booker Road when he possibly had a medical emergency, leading his vehicle to leave the road, according to an FHP news release.

Officials said once the vehicle left the road, it went through the grass and hit several bushes before hitting a tree.

The man was taken to Santa Rosa Medical where he was pronounced dead, according to FHP.
