MCINTOSH, Ala. (WKRG) — Two people were found dead after a fire in McIntosh in Washington County. According to a Facebook Post by the McIntosh Volunteer Fire Department, crews responded to a fire on River Road just after 10:30 Saturday night.

When they arrived they found several structures and vehicles on fire. After the fire was brought under control, two adults were found dead in the devastation.

The Alabama State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause. The post did not say what may have caused the fire or identify the victims. This is a developing story and we’ll continue to update this as we get more information.
