    Fall and Halloween events along the Gulf Coast (List)

    GULF COAST ( WKRG ) — WKRG News 5 is keeping track of Halloween and fall events along the Gulf Coast.

    Alabama events:

    Event organizers said the event will be “a day of fall fun, including the Trail of Treats, inflatables, games, and more.”

    • The City of Satsuma is preparing to host a trunk-or-treat event on Oct. 19 from 4-7 p.m. at 5840 Old Highway 43.

    It is a family-friendly event and there will be officers, firemen, dispatchers, and city officials present for the festivities, according to the Facebook post .

    • Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo is preparing to host Boo at the Zoo on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

    “Celebrate Halloween with the animals at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo,” the Facebook event description said . “A day full of scare-free fun, trick or treating activities, and meet and greets with your favorite animal ambassadors.”

    Zoo admission is required to attend the event: Adults (age 13-61) $22.95, Senior (62+)/Military $19.95, Child (age 3-12) $14.95.

    “Get ready for a spooktacular evening at the LODA ArtWalk on October 11, 2024, from 6-9 PM in downtown Mobile! Join us for a night of fun and creativity as we celebrate Halloween with a variety of activities and entertainment for all ages.”

    • The Foley Witches Ride is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 in downtown Foley at Heritage Park.

    The event which will benefit community organizations will feature a ride, after-party, live music, food trucks, and more. Riders must be over 21 and female. Tickets cost $20-40 according to the event listing .

    “Dress in your favorite costume and step onto the court for a hauntingly good time! As a treat, anyone in costume gets free popcorn to snack on between matches. And if you’ve secured a reservation, you’ll enjoy free paddle rental—so you’re armed and ready for a night of spooky smashes and eerie rallies!”

    Those who wish to attend can secure a court on Pickleball OWA’s website .

    The event hosted by GulfKids will feature a trunk or treat and chili cookoff.

    “Dress the kiddos up and bring them by to see all the creative trunks, play some fun activities and enjoy yummy food! You don’t want to miss it! This is a FREE event! No registration necessary for trick or treaters!”

    • Learning Campus ar Gulf State Park is preparing to host the Trek or Treat event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 26 at 20249A State Road Park.

    The event listing on Facebook said , “Calling all ghosts and ghouls: get ready for the 5th annual Trek or Treat at the Learning Campus! Bring the whole family Saturday, October 26th for a pumpkin-packed fall celebration.”

    • The Grahm Creek Nature Preserve is preparing to host Pumpkin Play Day at 10 a.m. on Oct. 19.

    “Join us on Saturday, October 19 at 10 AM for a morning of free family fun at the Outdoor Classroom! We’ll have carnival games, a visit from the firetruck, and Kona Ice to cool you down! It’s the perfect way to enjoy the weekend,” the listing on Facebook said .
