    Kansas woman arrested, charged with attempted homicide in Pensacola Beach

    ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — A Kansas woman is behind bars after she allegedly shot her husband while vacationing in Pensacola Beach, according to officials.

    According to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, 31-year-old Jacqueline King of Wichita, Kansas, was arrested after deputies responded to the Fairfield Inn on Pensacola Beach around 10:30 p.m. Monday for a report of a shooting.

    INCIDENT LOCATION:

    Deputies said that King was on vacation with her husband in Pensacola Beach when she shot him in a domestic-related incident.

    The husband was taken to a local hospital, and King was taken into custody and charged with attempted homicide, according to the ECSO.
