Mobile Police: Man arrested after allegedly cutting woman during fight

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A Mobile man is behind bars after police said he cut a woman during a fight Monday evening.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers arrested 54-year-old Christopher Wayne Matthews after they responded to the 4000 block of George St. for a report of an assault.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

Police said they arrived and found that a female victim had minor injuries after a known male suspect cut her during an altercation.

According to reports, officials identified Matthews as the suspect in the incident. He was taken to the Mobile Metro Jail and charged with second-degree assault.
