Gulf Breeze teen accused of making school shooting threat on Snapchat: Police

GULF BREEZE, Fla. (WKRG) — A Gulf Breeze High School student was taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon after they allegedly made a school shooting threat.

According to a Gulf Breeze Police Department news release, officers were notified of a threat at Gulf Breeze High School via Snapchat around 1:25 p.m.

Gulf Breeze High School was put on lockdown due to the threat.

Officers responded to the school and made contact with the suspect. They took them into custody less than 6 minutes after the call was made.

The police department determined the threat was not credible.
