FAIRHOPE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A Theodore man was arrested after a series of trailer thefts over the weekend, according to the Fairhope Police Department.

The department shared on Facebook that officers arrested Donald Nelson Jr., 30, on Tuesday following three reported trailer thefts in the area.

According to police, three utility trailers were stolen from the Fairhope Police Department jurisdiction on Oct. 6.

Officers identified Nelson as the suspect following an investigation that used security footage from a neighbor and collaborations with other law enforcement agencies.
