    Jackson County deputies investigate drive-by shooting near Ocean Springs

    JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WKRG) — Deputies in Jackson County are looking for whoever shot at a vehicle Saturday night near Ocean Springs. A news release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department says they responded to a drive-by shooting in the Gulf Park Estates community outside Ocean Springs Saturday night at around 9 pm.

    When they arrived they found an SUV parked in a driveway near the intersection of Meadowlark Avenue and South 4th Street. The vehicle was hit by several bullets and a number of shell casings were recovered.

    Despite the damage no one was hurt. Anyone with information on what happened is asked to contact the sheriff’s department at 228-769-3063.
