    Louisville mayor announces 1 fatality during severe storm

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A wave of severe weather took the life of one person on Sunday.

    Louisville mayor Craig Greenberg posted on social media on Sunday to announce that a fatality had been reported as a result of severe weather as a line of storms swept through Kentucky.

    Authorities told Nexstar’s WDRB that a man was hit by a tree and pronounced dead at the scene in the 10700 block of Hobbs Station Road near Anchorage.
