Driver injured after crashing into tree in Dickson County

DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A driver was seriously injured after a crash in Dickson County early Tuesday morning.

The crash happened in the 2200 block of Highway 48 North around 4:20 a.m.

Dickson County Fire Rescue reported the driver of a pickup truck hit a tree and was pinned inside the vehicle after the crash. The driver was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where their condition is unknown.

No additional information was immediately released.
