    Silver Alert canceled after missing man found safe in Murfreesboro

    MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) issued a Silver Alert Thursday for a man with a medical condition who went missing from Murfreesboro.

    Officials posted the Silver Alert just before noon on Thursday, Aug. 15, saying 71-year-old Oren Oliver was last seen earlier in the day near Sulphur Springs Road wearing a teal shirt and blue jeans.

    Authorities described Oliver as 5-feet 10-inches tall and 180 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. In addition, he has a medical condition that may have impaired his ability to return safely without help.

    Then, shortly before 1 p.m., the TBI announced Oliver had been found safe in Murfreesboro.
