    Man indicted for alleged dating scheme to rob, rape Clarksville women at motels

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Clarksville man has been indicted on robbery and weapons charges, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Monday.

    According to U.S. Attorney Henry C. Leventis, Kenneth Moore, 45, was is charged with robbing three women in Clarksville, brandishing a weapon during the robberies, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

    Charging documents allege on three separate occasions between October 2023 and February 2024, Moore arranged dates with women at motels in Clarksville in order to rob, rape, beat and pistol whip them. All three victims were treated for their injuries at local hospitals, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

    Moore was arrested by Clarksville Police Department officers Feb. 29. He was indicted by a federal grand jury in the Middle District of Tennessee July 17 and had his initial court appearance Friday, Aug. 16.

    If convicted, Moore faces a mandatory minimum of 7 years and up to life in federal prison on the weapons charges, up to 20 years on the robbery charges, and up to 15 years on the felon firearm possession charge. Per the U.S. Attorney’s Office, if Moore is determined to be an “armed career criminal,” he faces between 15 years and life imprisonment.

    I have to agree with some other commenters. who agrees to meet at a hotel on a first date and why weren't these women carrying defensive tools? were they self employed prostitutes or just ones with a lousy pimp? I'm any case this guy knows he's going away for a long time...unless a woke DA or judge has mercy on him for some reason.
