Motorcyclist dies after crash in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Clarksville Police Department responded to a head-on crash involving a motorcycle on Peachers Mill Road Thursday evening.

Authorities said that the crash happened at 6:35 p.m. on Peachers Mill Road at Allen Griffey Road and the roadway was temporarily shut down. It has since been reopened.

Clarksville police reported the motorcyclist was taken to Nashville for treatment but has since died from his injuries. His name will not be released until his identity has been verified.
