This is the best spot in Nashville for cheap eats, new ranking says

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Searching for the best food in Tennessee without breaking the bank? Look no further than this Nashville coffee shop, according to a new nationwide ranking.

CashNetUSA recently compiled a list of budget-friendly restaurants in each state using reviews from Yelp for eateries in more than 500 cities.

Nashville Coffees took the crown for Tennessee’s best spot for cheap eats on CashNetUSA’s list.

According to shop’s website , the owners — originally from Washington State — opened the location in 2018 and get their coffee locally roasted by Nashville Roast Coffee Company.

The menu features a variety of lattes, teas and, of course, coffee. In addition to the beverages, the shop also offers a range of pastries and sandwiches.

“I absolutely LOVE Nashville Coffee! I go several times a week. The owners are so sweet and welcome everyone in with open arms. Great taste and great value for your buck! Their breakfast croissant just melt in your mouth and are huge compared to most,” said one reviewer.

Another Yelp reviewer added: “This friendly coffee shop is a hidden treasure! The Pistachio Mocha Latte is a flavor explosion – rich, nutty, and utterly divine. I also picked up a scrumptious a bacon, egg and cheese croissant to start my day. So glad I stopped in when I was nearby. Highly recommend!”

The coffee shop had an average rating of nearly 4.8 stars, which CashNetUSA compiled using Yelp reviews in May 2024.

Nashville Coffees is located at 2416 Music Valley Suite 143 and open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends, opening an hour later (9 a.m.) on Sundays.
