    Spring Hill police warn residents of string of vehicle break-ins

    SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Spring Hill Police Department has asked residents to check their vehicles for stolen items after a string of vehicle burglaries that happened overnight.

    In a Facebook post , police said the reports occurred in the area of Port Royal Road and Commonwealth Drive. Three suspects were captured on camera wearing dark clothing, blue gloves and ski masks, police said.

    Officers located possible suspects and pursued them on foot, but were unable to apprehend them. A ski mask and a gun were recovered in a field near Commonwealth Drive, where the suspects were running.

    Police searched the area with a drone, but were unable to locate the suspects.

    No additional information was immediately released.
