NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — As soon as spring of next year, Southwest Airlines passengers will be able to take flights directly to and from Music City and South Florida.

On Monday, Southwest Airlines announced that it will be offering a daily nonstop service between Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) and Nashville International Airport (BNA). Flights are expected to start taking off on March 6, 2025.

In a news release, officials said the new service is aimed at giving passengers a “seamless travel experience” on their way to Nashville — one of the nation’s most popular travel destinations — or to the coastal city of West Palm Beach.

The new route also highlights an effort to keep meeting travelers’ evolving needs, including expanded access to key destinations across the country, the release said. PBI reportedly serves more than eight million passengers per year.

“We are thrilled to add Nashville as a nonstop route from PBI, which has been a request from passengers for some time,” PBI Director of Airports Laura Beebe said.

Three other nonstop routes are also being added to BNA next year. Travelers flying out of Music City will be able to take direct services to Indianapolis, Cabo San Lucas and Punta Cana on Southwest in March 2025.

Travelers can visit Southwest’s website to book their flights.
