    Clarksville org. offers free AC units to low-income households

    CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — In the midst of a heat advisory throughout the Middle Tennessee region, United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region is partnering with Electrolux to hand out free window air conditioning units to low-income households.

    On Tuesday Aug. 27 from noon to 4 p.m. the organization will be giving out the units behind the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library.

    To receive a unit, applicants must complete an online form. Applications must be accepted and a valid State ID must be presented at the pick up site.
