    Sycamore High School student dies suddenly in Pleasant View

    CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Pleasant View community is mourning the loss of a Sycamore High School student who died suddenly.

    According to Cheatham County Emergency Services, the teenage boy died Tuesday night in the Harris Farms subdivision in Pleasant View.

    The Cheatham County School District described the loss of the student as “immeasurable.”

    The district released a statement after the student’s death, which reads:

    The Cheatham County School District is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of a Sycamore High School student. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the student’s family and friends during this difficult time. The impact of such a loss is immeasurable. Counseling support is being provided this week at Sycamore High School to assist those affected during this grieving process.

    The boy’s body was taken to the Nashville Medical Examiner’s for an autopsy, results of which will not be available for at least three months.
