    Crews battle houseboat fire on Dale Hollow Lake

    CLAY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Crews worked to extinguish a fire on a houseboat on Dale Hollow Lake Thursday.

    Fire crews responded to the vessel by water around 7:30 p.m. in the Willow Grove area at Horse Creek Marina.

    The East 52 Volunteer Fire Department posted dramatic images of the fully-engulfed houseboat.

    No one was on the boat when fire crews arrived. No one was injured in the blaze.

    This incident is a great loss to the boat owner, but we are thankful that the boat was isolated and the situation did not become much worse, the department posted on social media.

    No additional information was immediately released.
