    Road reopened after crash took down power lines in Clarksville

    CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An overnight crash caused road closures due to collapsed power lines in Clarksville.

    Around 2:50 a.m. Sunday, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a single-vehicle crash that occurred near Greenwood Avenue and Madison Street.

    The vehicle crashed into a utility pole, knocking down power lines into the roadway. No injuries were reported, according to CPD.

    Madison Street remained closed between Greenwood Avenue and 10th Street until those lines could be cleared.

    Around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, CPD told News 2 the road was reopened.
