    Woman dead following rollover crash in Sumner County

    SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 61-yera-old woman died following a rollover crash in Sumner County Monday morning, officials said.

    The crash was reported at approximately 8:20 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 386 near mile marker 14.

    According to Gallatin Fire Chief Jeff Beaman, the crash involved one vehicle. The vehicle reportedly rolled over, ejecting one person who died at the scene. That person was later identified as 61-year-old Kathy Mowell.

    Officials said multiple fire crews responded to the crash, including a fire engine and rescue crews.

    The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is leading an investigation into the deadly crash. A preliminary crash report said that Mowell swerved for unknown reasons and over-corrected, causing the vehicle to cross all lanes of traffic before Mowell was ejected from the vehicle.

    See my own opinion is that people needs pay more attention to the road and not do stupid stuff these people nowadays don’t pay attention they should pay more attention
