Teen arrested in connection with deadly Bordeaux shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 19-year-old was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in Bordeaux last week.

The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said that Jabaree Q. Jones was charged with criminal homicide in connection with the shooting of 24-year-old Charmaine Goodloe.

An ongoing investigation led to the identification of Jones as a person in the suspect car at the apartment complex when the shooting occurred.

Goodloe was sitting outside the apartment just before midnight when gunfire erupted, striking her multiple times in her legs, according to Metro police. Officers rendered aid to Goodloe and she was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she died.

MNPD added that Jones was taken into custody late Wednesday afternoon at an apartment complex on Cheyenne Boulevard. He is being held without bond pending a hearing.

MNPD also noted that additional arrests in this case are anticipated.
