1 dead following head-on crash in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — At least one person has died following a head-on crash that occurred in Clarksville Thursday night.

The Clarksville Police Department said the crash took place just after 10 p.m. at the 41A Bypass near Riverwood Place.

Authorities advised residents to avoid the area Thursday night as “investigators worked as fast as possible to process the scene and clear the roadway for vehicle traffic.”

On Friday, officials announced the crash resulted in the death of Matthew Bouslog. It remains unclear what led to the crash.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, an investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
