Collins reportedly fled from the area after the shooting and remained at large for more than two years. He was added to the police department’s “Top 10 Most Wanted” list in December 2022 as the search for his whereabouts continued.

Then, on Monday, Sept. 2, police said Collins was apprehended by law enforcement outside of Tennessee. No further details surrounding his arrest were immediately available.
