NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Additional felony burglary charges have been filed against a 47-year-old man accused of burglaries across Nashville for more than a decade.

According to court documents, Davi Reynolds burglarized two Midtown Nashville businesses twice in 10 days while having a court-ordered tracking device on his vehicle.

Reynolds reportedly first broke into Massage Envy on Elliston Place on May 25. He took $600 in cash from the register before moving next door and forcibly entering a Dunkin’ Donuts, according to an arrest warrant.

Officials reported Reynolds attempted to steal the safe from the donut shop, but could not move it because it was too large.

Ten days later on June 4, Reynolds allegedly returned to the same Massage Envy location and entered once again. This time, he was not able to open the same cash register where he had previously stolen money.

Reynolds then moved to Dunkin’ Donuts where he put the safe on a dolly cart and rolled it out of the business, according to Metro police.

Documents state Reynolds’ vehicle was tracked to be in the vicinity of both businesses within the same time frame as the burglaries occurred.

Reynolds was taken into custody on July 17, 2024 and charged with theft of merchandise and assault stemming from a June 29 shoplifting incident at Burlington on Sawyer Brown Road.

In May, Reynolds was accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a Donelson campground office by rolling loose quarters to his vehicle with an office chair.

In 2022, Reynolds was arrested in Nashville on 13 warrants for multiple commercial burglaries in West Nashville and several motor vehicle burglaries. He kept pieces of evidence from those victims that connected him to crimes dating back to Sept. 2019, according to Metro police.

Reynolds’ criminal history of burglaries in Nashville dates back to 2013. He remains in the Metro jail on a $147,500 bond.
