    Married couple indicted for stealing from former workplace

    COFFEE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A husband and wife have been indicted for theft and fraud from a Manchester construction company where they used to work, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

    According to the TBI, 14th District Attorney General Craig Northcott requested the investigation in 2022.

    On Sept. 14, 2022, special agents began investigating allegations of employee theft and fraud from Gilley Construction in Manchester. During the course of the investigation, agents identified Paul and Pamela Campbell, both former employees of the company, as those responsible for misappropriating company funds for person gain from 2014 through 2017.

    This month the Coffee County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Pamela Campbell, 57, and Paul Campbell, 65, each with one count of theft over $250,000.

    They were arrested Wednesday, Sept. 11, and booked into the Coffee County Jail.

    They both face a $25,000 bond.
