NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tips called into the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children have resulted in the arrest of a man for sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested Alejandro Jarquin, 25, on six counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor on Tuesday night.

Several tips into the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children revealed Jarquin was the alleged owner of multiple Kik messaging app accounts that uploaded and shared child sex abuse material over the last five months, police said in a release.

Each account was reportedly used to share explicit material at least 25 times, with one account containing more than 200 files of young boys engaged in sexual activity.

Jarquin was taken into custody by Violent Crimes detectives at his Midtown residence, police said. He remains jailed on a $300,000 bond.
