The Clarksville Police Department said that the victim, 18-year-old Lebanon resident Carlos Wills, was taken off life support.

An investigation identified Za’Kwon Jaterrion Holiday of Clarksville as the suspect. Clarksville authorities secured a homicide warrant for his arrest. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) assisted Clarksville police and Holliday was apprehended during a traffic stop in Nashville on Friday evening.

“This was an isolated incident and at no time did law enforcement believe there to be an active threat to the public at large,” Clarksville police said.
