3 Nashville men arrested, 1 wanted in connection to trafficking investigation involving KY teen

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police say they have arrested three Nashville men and are searching for another after an investigation revealed they were involved in the trafficking of a teenage girl from Kentucky.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), detectives with the Youth Services Division began investigating the trafficking of the 13-year-old girl after she ran away from Oak Grove, Kentucky on Christmas Eve.

Authorities reported the girl was found in the Cayce Homes neighborhood on Jan. 9. Now, three Nashville men are facing a slew of charges for their connection to the case.

MNPD said 31-year-old Octavius Stepheny was arrested Monday, Sept. 16 on a grand jury indictment for trafficking for a commercial sex act. He is being held in Metro Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Another suspect —identified as 32-year-old Kemar Robinson— was taken into custody on Jan. 2 and transported to Sumner County on an outstanding sexual battery charge, police said. He was brought back to Davidson County on March 1 and booked on several charges and indictments, which includes: aggravated statutory rape, and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. He remains jailed on $85,000 bond.

Meanwhile, 47-year-old Corey Chambers was arrested on Aug. 29 on a grand jury indictment for aggravated statutory rape. He is being held in Metro Jail on a $75,000 bond.

Detectives said an investigation revealed that others may have been involved with the victim during the two weeks she was in Nashville, including 26-year-old Wilbert Pollard.

According to MNPD, Pollard is wanted for questioning as he is believed to have direct knowledge of those who had contact with the 13-year-old.
