MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Maury County man, who put many people in jeopardy, is in jail after a dangerous high speed chase.

According to arresting documents, the 25-year-old allegedly assaulted a Columbia woman. In 911 call from the victim, she said that he hit her multiple times and took her phone.

According to reports, Lindsay Jr drove up to 120 miles per hour in a stolen Mercedes. Spring Hill Police officers spotted the wanted man and chased for a short time until it became too dangerous.

Throughout the night, the Mercedes was captured on dash cameras driving recklessly, running stop signs and driving through fields, even driving between houses and over a fence. At one point, officers were able to spike two of the vehicle’s tires.

Later in the chase, officers converged on the car with guns extended. However, they realized that Lindsay fled on foot. He was eventually able be captured and booked in the Maury County jail.

Lindsay was charged with multiple felonies, including evading arrest, domestic assault and theft. News 2 reached out to Lindsay for comment, but he has declined to comment multiple times.
