Man shot in the leg at MetroCenter gas station

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after one person was shot at a gas station in the MetroCenter area of Nashville Friday morning.

The shooting happened around 4 a.m. at the 7-Eleven gas station in the 2000 block of Rosa L. Parks Boulevard.

Metro police reported a man was shot in the leg at the business. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim approached an employee near a dumpster and said he had been shot during a robbery attempt.

No additional information was immediately released.
