Man injured in East Nashville shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One person was taken to a hospital after a shooting in East Nashville overnight, officials said.

Metro police responded to the shooting around 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Lischey Avenue, near McFerrin Park and Community Center.

Officials said one man was shot and sustained minor injuries.

Officers are still investigating the shooting this morning. No additional information has been released.
