    Spring Hill residents asked to shelter in place due to ‘major gas leak’

    SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Spring Hill Fire Department was on the scene of a “major gas leak” that caused residents to shelter in place.

    According to a Facebook post from the City of Spring Hill, Buckner Lane was closed in both directions as crews work to address the gas leak. Residents in the immediate area of Buckner Lane near Wilkerson Place were asked to shelter in place.

    “Please avoid the area as emergency officials work the scene,” the post added.

    At 3:40 p.m., the Spring Hill Fire Department said that both directions of Buckner Lane were reopened and the gas leak was contained .
